Description
For years we fought an unequal battle with the elements for the survival of our garden umbrellas. Every storm announcement and every strong gust of wind was a signal to fold up the umbrellas immediately…. And to open them again after a while. It lasted long enough and was annoying enough that one day we designed our own indestructible umbrella. That’s exactly what it is. The sturdy construction won’t bend in high winds, and the fabric with its loose mesh weave lets some of the wind through and doesn’t fly away with it. In addition, the system of attaching the umbrella shell to the structure allows the wind to pass freely between the britches. It is durable and beautiful like the propellers of a windmill from la mancha. It pleasantly filters the sun and reminds you of it on rainy days.
