Meggy Bernhardt -Inauguration of the author’s gallery

In the space of Galery69 we have separated a special area for a dedicated gallery by Meggy Bernhardt. It is interesting and complicated combination of artistic entities in this spot… there’s a gallery within the gallery, basically a symbolic space, because it hasn’t been defined exactly – here, there, all around. Meggy’s first exhibition is in the restaurant room – 7 works. It doesn’t matter if it is strictly an exhibition or rather a presentation in its own space of these currently presented and these future works. One day, unannounced, they were simply hung on the walls. 

Until that day the “walls” were at the exclusive disposal of Jan Pruski. How did he take it? With joyful disbelief. He gave way to a “new” artist. I thank you, Jan, for this place. Together with Jan we finished the vernissage ceremonies, there was wine and cheese. Professor Henryk Cześnik was also present, as well as people who were closest to the artists – their muses. The meeting was private, without media and without noise :).

Then there were a few small, personal and spontaneous openings. We are ready to guide every art-interested soul through our difficult gallery space – difficult because it is not limited by anything, so if someone doesn’t know where the door leads to him, we will tell him about it. 

Further works by Meggy have appeared in hotel rooms, corridors and the main hall of our gallery, i.e. Artistic Loft. The collection of these works has therefore become an element of our total presentation. After all, Hotel Galery69 is an art gallery as a whole, or to be more precise, it is a work of art in its entirety. Meggy Bernhardt’s painting is another connection that binds the whole – another, not the last one, because I do not rule out the possibility that something else may appear, something that we don’t even feel today. 

So here we have a phenomenon – authorship without borders or something like that in this context. I have completed the collection of Gallery69. After the furniture, lamps and functional objects of my own design (Manufaktura69) the time for painting has come. “A painter is born” Get to know me in a new creative person – Meggy Bernhardt.
