You ask us why we don’t do regular concerts. It is simple. Everything that is regular becomes a routine. There is no need to explain what routine is. After the last fantastic concert in February, Grzech Piotrowski got excited and suggested that maybe he should play concerts with us more often? Hm, wonderful, but it smacks of obligation, like an extra activity after school (that’s why I didn’t stay in the scouts or the school choir, I instinctively reject anything repetitive). What is there to answer? So I say this: you know, we might not be looking for a concert idea just because it’s going to happen, but if you have something brilliantly unique, like the Lebedev Trio for example, I’d be happy to! I had the absolute fun of seeing their concert with the Alchemik orchestra (Grzech Piotrowski’s formation) at the „Wschód Piękna” festival in Olsztyn in 2018 (the festival is also Grzech’s project). And what does Grzech do? In just a few moments he calls to announce that he has invited the Lebiediev Trio to play concerts at his new club in Warsaw (Six Seasons) so they will be on their way to us – I take this opportunity to mention that we already have 80% of the highway between us and the capital, which means max. 2 hours driving time.
So quite spontaneously, i.e. non-routinely, unconventionally, and as always with enthusiasm, we announce:
a concert at Galery69. On 9 May at 20.00 in the Artistic Loft hall.
Absolutely amazing artists will be performing:
LRK Trio from Moscow in a quartet with Grzech Piotrowski.
